Richard W. Schumacher has been licensed to practice law since 1978 when he graduated Boston University School of Law. Mr. Schumacher has over 30 years of experience as an “AV” rated trial lawyer and over 50 civil jury verdicts as first chair. He has represented individuals, major corporations, property and business owners, employers, professionals of all stripes, hospitals, architects, developers, contractors and subcontractors, and insurance companies. During his career he has resolved well over a thousand cases by dismissal, summary judgment, settlement, trial and appeal – including personal injury, commercial and employment litigation. Damages at stake and losses involved have included multi-million dollar contract disputes as well as catastrophic injuries. Some cases have been high profile suits, monitored by news organizations. Additionally, he is a Certified Mediator and has successfully argued several appeals.
