Richard D. Foody
Richard D. Foody has been licensed to practice law since 1988 when he graduated from the John Marshall Law School. Before and during law school, he worked as an Assistant Vice President in charge of property insurance at a major insurance brokerage firm. Rick spent 13 years in the insurance industry managing underwriting and brokerage departments before starting his law career. His extensive insurance background, including personal and commercial expertise in property and casualty coverage, including inland marine, environmental impairment, professional liability and reinsurance, gives him experience and insight into insurance operations rarely found in the legal profession and provides the firm with a distinct advantage in analyzing claims and litigation from the insurers' perspective. Additionally, he is an experienced trial attorney, particularly in first party property cases, and has extensive appellate experience as well.
